01Synopsis
In the mountain forge-village of Drakhelm, young blacksmith's apprentice Kael finds a wounded young dragon, Sera, caught in one of the king's steel traps.
The kingdom hunts dragons for their scales, and Captain Voss will pay gold for the beast. But years ago, in a deadly blizzard, a dragon saved Kael's life... and Kael made an oath.
Hiding Sera in a secret mountain cave, Kael nurses her back to health, and an unbreakable bond grows between boy and dragon. When the hunters close in and Kael stands alone against the king's law, the mountain itself answers: an avalanche thunders toward the village. In the film's breathtaking climax, Sera takes to the sky and turns her flame against the falling snow, saving the very people who wanted her dead.
